The ongoing Ukrainian-Russian conflict has dramatically reshaped the geopolitical landscape of Eastern Europe. The war has caused profound disruptions in academic and cultural exchanges within the region since the invasion in February 2022. Therefore, many scholars lost the opportunity to implement ambitious projects due to lack of financial resources. This is why a great initiative has been created at the Mieroszewski Centre.
A mission to foster academic collaboration
Nowadays, it is essential to cooperate on international level and share knowledge that can really make a difference. Collaborative efforts enable researchers from diverse backgrounds and regions to gather resources, share data, and leverage different perspectives, leading to innovative solutions that a single entity could not achieve alone.
Unfortunately, an Eastern Europe’s situation hinders fulfilling academic tasks, but for many it is still possible to continue their research. Mieroszewski Centre created a Poland scholarship programme to support scholars, journalists, analysts and many more who want to contribute to the academic development.
